The Wyrd Sisters each have a job; one spins the fibre into yarn, the second measures the yarn out, deciding how it will be used and the third sister cuts the yarn. This idea is very similar to the spider who spins its web, constructs the lacework (and may repair it often) until its finally abandoned. Each one of our webs is constructed and woven as we traverse through life. We may also find holes and see our tapestry becoming tattered from time to time, but like the Wyrd Sisters, we can also mend these fragments, or snip them away as needed. And like the spider, we can catch what we desire in our webbing without having to expend unnecessary energy. The web signifies life, and each thread spun and cast out represents how we influence one another and the deeper roles we play in each others lives. Don't become the prey in someone else's web, but don't be the predator either. Let unwanted things slip through the openings and hold onto the things that make your web stronger.
